What the fee includes:

• Pre-trip support
• Airport pickup when you arrive
• Airport drop-off when you leave
• One night's accommodation at a hotel in Accra on your first night
• Transport from Accra to your project in Ho and back to Accra at the end
• Breakfast, lunch and dinner every weekday
• Accommodation for your entire stay
• Placement on your chosen projects
• Arrival orientation
• Pre – departure information
• 24-hour support
• A safe in the house for personal belongings

What's not included:

• Flights
• Personal insurance (e.g. health insurance, insurance for belongings)
• Visa
• Vaccinations
• Phone Calls
• Internet Access
• Meals at the weekend
• Personal travels during time off

Where do your fees go?

As mentioned before we are a non-profit making organisation. We work hard to keep the costs down and strive to ensure that as much money as possible goes to the projects. However, we remain devoted to both the quality of your placement and the safety of all involved.

Your fees include expenditure on what we have listed above, other costs such as insurance, banking charges, upkeep of the house and expenses for Daniel along with money we donate to local projects.

We are keen to support the projects we send our volunteers to and we donate a significant amount of money to them. Over the past year this has included:

• Extensive repair work for both the school and kindergarten
• A fresh lick of paint for several of the school buildings
• Paying registration fees for the football team and providing football gear
• Clothes and toys for the kindergarton

We have several other projects we want to work on in the future and your money will make all of this possible.
